Obituary: Published in the Mt. Vernon Signal in February 1940 in Mount Vernon, Rockcastle County, Kentucky. 94 PASSING OF MRS. LOU TAYLOR FRALICK: Mrs. Lou Taylor Fralick, age 71 year, died at her home near Mount Vernon, Thursday, February 8th having been in poor health for several months.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home with the Rev. W. C. Younce, pastor of the Baptist Church officiating. The interment followed in the family lot in the Taylor Cemetery. Surviving are the husband, Mr. Press Fralick, and one daughter, Miss Lena Taylor. One sister, Mrs. Nannie Harrison, and three brothers, Bob Taylor and John Taylor of Mount Vernon and App Taylor of Buechel, Kentucky, also survive.

Mrs. Fralick was a good wife and mother, an affectionate sister, a splendid neighbor, and a sincere and true friend. She passed to her final sleep unafraid of the coming night, realizing that soon she would pitch her tent in that silent camping ground from which no traveler ever returns, but having that blessed assurance that to those who die in the Lord there need be no fear of death, and we who are left feel that as she traveled life's pathway "she hath done what she could" to make the way easier for those who will follow in her footsteps.
