1910 United States Federal Census, App Taylor household, Rockcastle County, Kentucky 112: App & Susie were living in Livingston. Susie's mother, Katie Leffew, was living with them. App was listed as a railroad section foreman, age 35, married 1st time for 13 years, born in Kentucky.

Obituary: Published in the Mt. Vernon Signal on 4 July 1968 in Mount Vernon, Rockcastle County, Kentucky. 109 SERVICES HELD FOR APP TAYLOR, 92: Funeral services were held Thursday, June 20 at the McAfee Funeral Home in Louisville for App Taylor, 92, of Six Mile Lane, Louisville, who passed away June 17 at St. Anthony Hospital there. He was a native of Rockcastle County and a retired railroader having worked fifty years for the L & N Railroad.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Edith Powers Taylor, he is survived by three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dr. William Poore officiated at the Funeral services and graveside services were held by the Buechel Masonic Lodge No. 896 F & AM. Interment was in Resthaven Cemetery.
