Married to Miss Gertie Tapp Dec. 27, 1910. Born to this union three children, two boys and one girl; one boy preceded him to the grave. He made a profession of faith in Jesus 1910, and joined the Concord G. B. Church. Baptized by L. L. Todd. Departed this life Sept. 7, 1923. He was 29 years, 9 months, and 15 days old. While departing this life he pointed toward heaven and seemed to pass to the beyond in a spirit of prayer. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Williams and R. N. Pearcy. Bro. T. L. Hankins is one of our pioneer ministers in Union association, Ky. This is his second son he has lost in less than a year. He also has another son in bad health in the west. Those of us that know Bro. and Sister Hankins and the worth of prayer ought to remember them in their hour of trouble and bereavement.
