• 1840 United States Federal Census, Thomas Ramsey household, Rockcastle County, Kentucky: Rhoda appears to be included in her husband's household as a female 30-40. ⁴¹

Rhoda married Stephen Bradford LAIR, son of Living and Living, on 25 August 1829 in Lincoln County, Kentucky.⁵²⁰ (Stephen Bradford LAIR died bef. 1839 ⁵²².)

Rhoda next married Thomas RAMSEY Jr., son of Thomas RAMSEY Sr. and Martha, on 20 January 1839 in Lincoln County, Kentucky ^1,394.^,395 (Thomas RAMSEY Jr. was born ca. 1782 in Virginia,^42,397 died ca. 1852 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky ³⁹⁸ and was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Mount Vernon, Rockcastle County, Kentucky ³⁹⁹.)

• Residence: 1840's, Main Street, Mount Vernon, Rockcastle County, Kentucky. Thomas and Rhoda lived in this house in the 1840's. It is unknown exactly how long they lived in the house but they were living there when their son, Joseph Love, was born in 1842. The house was located on the SE corner of what is now Main and Richmond Streets. Thomas also had a blacksmith shop at that location. [The lot is currently a parking lot.]
