HARTFORD C. TAYLOR BURIED IN ILLINOIS:
Hartford Conn Taylor, 58, a collector for the Illinois Trailway Commission, died Oct 17 in St. Theresa Hospital at Waukegan, Ill., after a short illness.

He was born in Mt. Vernon, the son of J. C. and Emma Taylor. He moved to Chicago 33 years ago where he worked for Radio Broadcasting Company on WLS barn dance and WJJD supper time frolic.

He was a member of the American Federation of musicians in Chicago for 33 years.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; a son, Billy; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Finch and three granddaughters, all of Wild Wood, Ill; his mother, Mrs. J. C. Taylor, sisters, Mrs. Susie Krueger and Mrs. Ana Rose Chestnut of Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Elmer Hopkins, Loyall; a brother, Bill Taylor, Lawrence, Kansas.

Funeral services were held Oct 20 in the Strang Funeral Chapel with Rev. Corell Hart, pastor of the Wild Wood Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Milburn Cemetery.
