There was a 22 year old listed as Annie Howard, daughter, b. Mar 1878 living with them. Obituary: Published in the Harlan Daily Enterprise on 10 February 1931 in Harlan, Harlan County, Kentucky. 1510 HENRY HOWARD PASSES AWAY "Big" Henry Howard, Wallins, Dies as Result of Paralysis: Henry Howard, 71, prominent citizen of Wallins, Ky, died yesterday as the result of a stroke of paralysis suffered about four months ago.

Mr. Howard, known as "Big Henry", was a pioneer citizen of Wallins, having been born and reared there. He was the son of John C. Howard. Mr. Howard was an influential citizen, owning much property in and about Wallins. He had been active up until about four months ago when he suffered a stroke of paralysis, from which he never recovered.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, an adopted daughter, and two sisters.
