Newspaper Clipping: Earlington Bee on 28 December 1893 in Earlington, Hopkins County, Kentucky 2032 The following resolutions were unanimously adopted by the Christian Sunday-school, at Madisonville, Dec. 3, 1893: Whereas, By God's dispensation another soldier is at rest. He had laid down his arms and to-day under the sod of death's camping ground he sleeps. "Uncle" Henry GOODLOE is no more, so far as the pains, vexations and turmoils of this life are concerned. His body has returned to the dust as it was, and his spirit to God, who gave it; therefore, be it: Resolved, That we, the Christian Sunday-school, extend to his aged widow, to his daughter and Baby Faunt LeRoy, our deepest sad most heartfelt sympathy and condolence in this their hour of deepest sorrow and distress. Resolved, That these resolutions be engraved upon the minute book of this Sunday-school and a copy furnished the family. By order of the school. C.E. MORTON
