Anna married David GAMBLE, son of John GAMBLE and Sarah EWING, on 16 March 1814 in Laurensville, Laurens County, South Carolina.2811 (David GAMBLE was born ca 1790 in South Carolina,2412 died bef. February 1872 in Heard County, Georgia 2811 and was buried in Adamson Cemetery, Glenn, Heard County, Georgia 2813.)

  

Residence: ca. 1829, Heard County, Georgia. 2819 David received 80 acres of bounty land in Heard County as payment for his service in the South Carolina Militia during the War of 1812. He came to Heard County abt. 1829 from South Carolina. His property was located abt. 2 miles west of Glenn in Heard County but whe the Georgia/Alabama state line was redrawn, it fell on the Alabama side of the line.


  Marriage Notes:

This is their marriage date according to David's War of 1812 pension application but it is slightly questionable. They had 10 documented children but none of them had been born as of the 1820 census which was 6 years after their marriage.
